El Capitano and Commander in Chief. Two names we don’t use to refer to Joe. He is in charge of all things BCMA though.
A classically trained trumpet player and composer, he has been in demand as a session player and for gigs since graduating from Leeds College of Music in 2012. His trumpet playing can be heard on a diverse range of recordings, from a Jane McDonald album to an Old El Paso TV advert. Joe has, and continues to, tour the world living the rock and roll lifestyle, or so he tells us. We suspect its rather more tame than he likes to make out. Still, you can’t argue with the fact he has played in venues all over the world, even as far away as Australia!
Joe teaches trumpet, cornet, french horn, beginner guitar and bass guitar, music theory at BCMA.
